The $1.50 Dollar Tree Find So Good I Bought 6 (They're Nearly Identical to Anthropologie)

These cheerful holiday glasses capture the same nostalgic charm as the high-end originals.

After I wrote about Dollar Tree's Christmas rocks glasses last month, I kept noticing the same whimsical holiday glassware aesthetic popping up everywhere. Target had it. Pottery Barn had it. And then I was scrolling through Anthropologie's website—a dangerous pastime when you have expensive taste but a decidedly non-expensive budget—and there they were: the Festive Icon Juice Glasses for $16 each, with their playful holiday motifs and vintage charm. They looked strikingly similar to the $1.50 glasses I'd already bought six of from the Dollar Tree.

That's when I realized I wasn't just looking at a dupe, I was looking at a full-blown design trend. Nostalgic holiday icons, bright colors, whimsical illustrations, and joyful maximalism are having a moment across retailers at every price point, and Dollar Tree's glasses fit right into the same aesthetic conversation as Anthropologie's cult-favorite drinkware. But in good old Dollar Tree fashion, for a fraction of the cost.

Dollar Tree's Assorted Christmas Rocks Glasses

  • Price: $1.50 for one 10.5-ounce rocks glass
  • Why I Love It: They capture the cozy, collected holiday look I adore, all for just $1.50 a glass.

Why Dollar Tree's Christmas Rocks Glasses Are Even Better Than I Originally Thought

Here's what I've come to understand about this trend: As shoppers, we seem to be moving away from sleek, minimalist matching sets and more toward "collected" looks that feel curated, eclectic, and full of personality. Anthropologie has built an entire holiday aesthetic around this.

The Festive Icon Juice Glasses feature mouth-blown glass and hand-pressed beaded icons, including wreaths, candy canes, and snowmen. They're artisan-made, beautifully weighted, and absolutely gorgeous. They're also $16 each, which means outfitting a holiday party would cost you mega bucks before you've even added plates or silverware.

At $1.50, you can mix and match designs to create that intentionally eclectic, "collected over time" look that Anthropologie is famous for, without spending a fortune or scouring thrift stores for years.

Dollar Tree's version, on the other hand, uses vibrant painted decals instead of 3D beaded glass. And while they don't have the same hand-made quality, the visual effect is remarkably similar. Each glass features a single cheerful icon—gingerbread men, candy canes, snowmen—floating in the clear glass, just like the Anthropologie versions.

The style language is identical: whimsical, nostalgic, joyful, and unapologetically festive. At 10.5 ounces, they're the perfect size for cocktails, mocktails, or even layered desserts. I've used mine for everything from pomegranate palomas to milk-and-cookies nights with my kids.

This trend is showing up at other retailers too—Target's Madison Home line, Pottery Barn's holiday collection, Crate & Barrel's Holiday Presents line, and more. Heck, even Walmart and Amazon are carrying them! They all lean into this nostalgic, icon-forward aesthetic. But Dollar Tree's version might be the smartest buy of them all because you can outfit an entire holiday party for the price of a single Anthropologie glass (or buy extras to fill with homemade fudge or candy as neighbor gifts). I plan to pick a few more up to turn into these gift card holders for my kids' aftercare teachers.

If you want to style them in that signature Anthropologie way, try mixing different motifs at each place setting, adding fun garnishes like cranberry ice cubes or rosemary sprigs, or setting them on a wooden tray with cedar boughs and dried orange slices. They make a fun pairing with busy patterned tablecloths, velvet ribbon accents, and bottle brush trees—all hallmarks of that curated, cozy maximalism Anthropologie does so well.

Shopping Tip

These are seasonal at Dollar Tree, which means stock varies by store, and they won't be around forever. If you see them and love the look, grab a few extras. At $1.50 each, even if you only use them for one holiday season, you've gotten your money's worth. And chances are, they'll become part of your holiday tradition for years to come.
