All I want for Christmas are items I didn’t have to buy for myself. Oh, and a full night of sleep would be very much appreciated, too. Is that too much to ask? I fear that as a busy mom of three, the answer may be yes.
In the spirit of making things easier on everyone, including myself, I’ve done a little shopping homework ahead of the busiest time of year. I rounded up a few of my favorite stocking stuffers from Trader Joe's—most of them edible gifts, but I’ve also included some home and beauty goods. They all come in at under five bucks. Many of these items are seasonal, so act fast while they are still in your local store.

1. Cedar Balsam Scented Room Spritz ($3.99)
I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I switched to a fake tree. I swore I never would, but with three kids and a rogue cat, I couldn’t keep up with the pine needles everywhere. This room spray makes me feel like I just cut my own tree down at an idyllic Christmas tree farm. It’s scent is powerful, but not overwhelming.

2. Break Apart Reindeer ($3.99)
My kids go crazy for the bunny version of this treat during Easter, so I’ll definitely be grabbing a few of these for Christmas. These are super cute gifts to wrap for their little friends without breaking the bank. It’s high-quality chocolate filled with gelatin-free gummy candies shaped like Rudolph’s nose. How festive is that?!

3. Vanilla Sugar ($3.99)
Buy this for the chef or coffee-lover in your life. It’s great stirred into coffee or even mixed into a cocktail. It’s made from cane sugar and Bourbon vanilla beans so it adds a ton of flavor to oatmeal and makes a great sanding sugar for holiday cookies.

4. Organic Radiatore Pasta ($1.99)
Not to alarm anyone, but have you seen the news about imported pasta prices going up in the new year? At $1.99 a pound, in my opinion, this pasta is worth its weight in gold. This is one of my favorite shapes, too. It works well in soups, and has lots of nooks and crannies for soaking up pasta sauce.

11. Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers ($3.79)
Artisanal Swedish candy may be all the rage right now, and in my opinion, this is the best version out there. I pretend to buy these for my kids, but I usually eat the whole bag, especially the red ones!

12. Gold Aceto Balsamico Di Modena ($4.99)
The price of this aged balsamic is almost too good to be true. This is a real deal from the Emilia Romana region of Italy, which means it's aged at least three years, making it naturally a little thicker.
