One of my favorite Christmas traditions is both filling and opening stuffed-to-bursting stockings. My family always opened our (matching, of course) stockings on Christmas Eve, offering a little taste of what’s to come on Christmas morning. What I enjoy most about stocking stuffers is that they’re sort of an anything goes type of present; they can be funny, whimsical, or practical, and of course, edible gifts are always a part of the mix. Every year, my stocking included a small box of chocolate-covered cherries from a local candy maker.
If there’s still a bit of empty room in any of your family’s stockings this year, you’re in the right place. We have plenty of ideas below for how to fill them up. From cutesy napkins to delectable candies, handy kitchen tools to mini jars of something sweet or spicy, our food editors have picked so many great stocking stuffers, it’s going to be hard to choose!

I'm not sure I've met a single person who has tried Dot's Pretzels and hasn't loved them—which is exactly why they're the ideal stocking stuffer. I'm in love with everything about Lakrids by Bülow. Yes, it's black licorice, but it's good black licorice. 7. Diamond Crystal Flavored Kosher Salt
Simply Recipes / Amazon
I'm a longtime Diamond Crystal loyalist, so when the flavored salts came out, I couldn't wait to try them. What I love most is that the flavors are loud—you taste the black lime or lemon first, not just salt. Sweet Heat, for example, has a real fiery kick. I love that I can use a little to finish dishes like steak, grilled chicken, roasted veggies, desserts like brownies and cookies, and as an interesting cocktail rimmer. A little goes a long way in delivering a big flavor payoff. —Kris Osborne, Contributor
8. Zeroll Ice Cream Scoop
Simply Recipes / Williams Sonoma
If you have an ice cream lover in your life, it's not the best treat to stick in a stocking (as it, ya know, melts), but I highly recommend this ice cream scoop by Zeroll. It's simply the best there is—the liquid encased in the handle heats up from the natural heat of your hand, helping you get the perfect scoop. Just don't put it in the dishwasher! —Laurel

Simply Recipes / Kuhn Rikon
I know this is a very utilitarian pick, but this peeler is THE BEST! I’ve given it to family members as a stocking stuffer before (just keep the safety on the blade while stuffing that stocking, friends!), and they're all still going strong. This peeler makes peeling even the most annoying vegetables (looking at you, butternut squash) a breeze, and it comes in so many fun colors for each of your recipients. —Afton
10. Graza Olive Oil
Simply Recipes / Graza
No idea how my mom missed the whole Graza craze of 2024, but when she was over for dinner recently, she marveled at my squeezy bottle of olive oil. For Christmas this year, she'll be legitimately thrilled to unwrap a set of Sizzle and Drizzle. —Lara

Don't sleep on the Twinkle Twinkle Savor the Moment series! Twinkle Twinkle is another Popmart IP, and in this series, all the characters are dressed up as food—so cute! 13. The Six Bells Dainty Floral Napkins
Simply Recipes / The Six Bells
I adore the cloth napkins from The Six Bells; they take something as utilitarian as a napkin and turn it into a small everyday luxury. Cloth napkins can be gentler on the environment.
