During the summertime, when I’d invite friends for a day at the lake, they’d often ask, “Will there be dip?” My answer was always a resounding yes, and it’s turned into a tradition for not just lake invitations, but just about any gathering. As we head toward the holiday season, the question still remains. And luckily, my go-to 3-ingredient feta dip is still on the menu when we get together, and it’s still just as easy.
While I came up with this combination during the warmer months, this feta dip can be made for any occasion—especially a holiday gathering. With a creamy texture and balanced, salty flavor, it’s an instant crowd-pleaser and truly just takes minutes to whip up.
Make it whether you’re heading to a friend’s house to celebrate or you’re hosting family and need an easy appetizer. Serve it with a variety of dippers, like vegetables, crackers, pita bread, or a mixture of all three. Either way, you’ve got a simple snack on the menu that’s sure to please.

Make It Ahead
The beauty of this dip is its convenience. Not only can you prep it quickly, but it can sit in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it. Make it up to a day ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. Keep in mind, the dip will thicken slightly as it chills.
How to Serve My 3-Ingredient Feta Dip
Ready to serve your dip? Transfer it to a serving bowl and place the bowl on a platter. Surround it with a variety of items for dipping. I love to pair this feta dip with options like cucumber spears or rounds for a tzatziki vibe, snap peas, sliced bell peppers, pita crackers, sliced pita bread, pretzel chips, and/or grilled bread.
When I have leftovers, I’ll even use this dip as a topping for chicken to add flavor to a quick dinner. It truly pairs with just about anything.
Make This Dip Your Own
Three main ingredients—feta cheese, Greek yogurt, and jarred pepperoncini—build the base of this flavorful dip, but there are so many ways to make it your own:
- Stir in chopped veggies: Turn this into a veggie-filled dip with chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, and additional pepperoncini. Stir them into your finished dip before serving.
- Make it spicy: Pepperoncini add flavor and bite, but they don’t add too much spice to this dip. Incorporate chopped fresh or pickled jalapeños to spice it up.
- Top with more crumbled feta: Want more cheese? Go for it! Add a topping of crumbled feta to the finished dip.
- Add other garnishes: Dress up the top of this dip for a party by adding garnishes such as chopped pistachios, minced Italian parsley, or sprigs of fresh dill.
